Palash (Paul) Gupta -- Chairman (PAC), DAABA
Thank you for visiting the website of the Delaware Asian American Business Association (DAABA).
Whether it's your first visit or you are a repeat visitor, I hope you'll find information that will benefit you.
DAABA was formed in year 2000.
DAABA's mission is to provide effective representation of membership base through legislative and administrative advocacy.
DAABA is all about being the voice for the state's retail community. It's our job to monitor legislative and regulatory developments for you. We support, and often propose, policy changes that benefit the retailers and the customers we serve while opposing unreasonable restrictions on how we operate our stores. The more retailers support our efforts the louder and more effective our voice will be.
DAABA recognizes and appreciates that accountability means taking ownership for results and out comes. We further understand that for the achievement of performance and member satisfaction goals, it is incumbent on the associations committee to be operating in accordance with the strategic plan to the continuous planning process and providing the resources necessary for associates to deliver on our commitments.
At the signing of the Declaration of Independence, John Hancock remarked that the revolutionaries should be unanimous in their action. While we may not always be unanimous in everything, Benjamin Franklin's response to Hancock's remark often holds true for our industry in the legislative and regulatory arenas: "We must indeed all hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately".
Thank you for 'hanging together' with your retail colleagues. If you're not yet a supporter of DAABA, I hope you will join today.
We're always looking to improve our services to the retail community. If you have suggestions about how this website can be more responsive to your needs, please contact us.
